LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
I worked with the Los Angeles Chargers as my client in my Strategic Writing for Public Relations course. Recognizing the importance of The Chargers engaging with their community beyond football, I crafted and launched a campaign focusing on raising awareness about homelessness in Los Angeles. I utilized news releases, press pitches, and social media posts to enhance the campaign’s visibility and outreach, successfully drawing attention to this crucial issue. Additionally, I facilitated a partnership between the Chargers and The Midnight Mission, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering homeless individuals by removing barriers and offering the support needed to foster community integration and productivity.

Here are examples of social media posts I designed to highlight how The Chargers and their fans can contribute to alleviating homelessness in Los Angeles. Additionally, I developed a detailed fact sheet about the Chargers organization, which proved invaluable during the research phase of the campaign.
